Deacon Darris Linder gave his all to make us better.
There were 22 Priests/Deacons vested and at least 4 more clergy in the audience to pay tribute to their HERO, Darris Linder!
The magnificent HONOR GUARD is prepared for the FINAL ESCORT and the wind is almost calm at the moment.
Notice the very unusual glow in these photos as the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Honor Guard Salutes their fallen member. Truly Darris had more escorts than us earthly beings!
The words on the front of the prayer card were SO TRUE for at the final services the wind did blow as if to say an Angel whisked Darris away! A fitting farewell to our HERO!

Those pictures are so miraculous, truly Darris is blessed and with Jesus! But we will miss him badly!
Just unbelievable that Darris in no longer with us. I know he is in a better place now. Always a wonderful man to me while growing up with Cheryl in Slaton since 7th grade. May God hold you close as you held the ones you loved close. XOXO.
I knew Darris very well as a close friend at Slaton High School, and I was fortunate to visit with him a few times since. Darris was a very fine and generous man, who applied the teachings of Jesus the Christ, and we will miss him very much!
