Rules of eligibility for Slaton Council Scholarship fund  are: 1. Father must be an ACTIVE member of Council 2571, current on dues. 2. Applicant must be confirmed Catholic

at time of application. 3. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior accepted into and accredited college, university or vocational/trade

school as a full time student. 4. Applicant must submit a 250 word autobiographical essay introducing their family, educational goals and

church and community involvement. 5. Applicant must submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach or administrator .

6. Deadline for application: Second Monday of March. Notification of awards: Second Monday of April, Funds Disbursement First Sunday of May

at Mass.
